Meet the dietitian

Lindsay Ducharme RD, CSR, LDN

About Me

My career as a dietitian began in 2009. Throughout the years, I've experienced many different clinical settings including inpatient eating disorders, acute care, acute rehabilitation, long-term care and food service. In 2014, I began working at a dialysis center where my interested in kidney nutrition blossomed. In 2021, I decided to take the leap and start my own private practice.

My free time is spent with my husband and two energetic young boys. I love being active - whether it's running, yoga or strength training. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and testing out kidney friendly products!

My Philosophy

  • I believe that food should be enjoyed, even if you have a chronic disease.

  • I believe nutrition can be flexible.

  • I believe diet is not one-size-fits-all, even for CKD!

  • I DO NOT believe in body shaming and food shaming.

  • I DO NOT believe in quick fixes.

  • I DO NOT believe in good vs. bad foods.

My overall goal is to provide my clients with the most up-to-date nutrition advice backed by science. I strive to help my clients implement simple and effective diet changes that fits into their lifestyle.
